“What the Government Costs You” Data Point of the Day:
All the stupid wasted time – time stolen out of people’s actual lives – getting on the phone talking with pharmacists and insurance companies about how and when you are going to get the medication/s that you or your child needs, who is going to pay for them and how much they are going to cost. Also how much will they really cost after they apply the discount for your not being an insurance company. And do you have enough to last until the precise day when the insurance company says that it’s OK for them to pay for the medication they already know you need.
You know what? People should just be able to walk into a store and buy the fucking medication they need. Or want. Or think they want. The discussion (and the phone calls and the emails and sometimes the faxes) should just end there. But it doesn’t. Because Statism.
